Top global materials science company is looking for Talent Development.

Your new role
- Represent the TD team in your region and actively participate in global TD team.
- Partner with local leaders and human resource team members to uncover and prioritize development needs.
- Recommend solutions to drive high performance, and partner with global team mates to design or source the design of training and performance support.
- Manage pilots, measure results and plan implementation to achieve sustained results.
- Assist in leading HR efforts in region as an active member of Integrated Talent Management and HR Team.
- Support Leadership program and continue to provide input for continuous improvement and program assessment.
- Manage the communication, delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement of globally aligned learning options for associates in region. This will include on boarding programs, sponsoring, leadership, communication and other courses.
- Regularly facilitate enterprise Talent Development programs in region.
- Partner with regional and global Talent Development Specialists and coordinators as needed to support the development of associate’s functional excellence to enable business results.
- Integrate learning organization principles and tactics into TD deliverables.
- Actively support development of TD team functional excellence.

What you'll need to succeed
•University degree (focus on Business Administration, HR or related field preferred) or equivalent demonstrated experience relative to the role expectations
•8+ preferred years of experience in HR function, including 5+ years in Talent Development
•Strong inter-personal relationship and communication skills
•Demonstrated experience and capability in leadership coaching, complex facilitation, contracting, conflict resolution, change management, Organizational design and development
•Strong working knowledge of human resources practices and processes
•Influencing skills, and ability to work across a matrix organization •Ability to work effectively in a global environment
•Experience in implementing effective processes around Integrated Talent Management, Organization/Team/Leadership development •Native Japanese and business-level English skills
•Willingness to local and international travel (up to 20% of the time)
