International trading company specializing in F&B is looking for a Legal Staff in Tokyo, Japan.

This International import/ wholesale trading company specializing in food & beverages is the leader in its sector, also known as one of the largest trading groups in Southeast Asia. Expanding its business to F&B manufacturing and marketing, trade and marketing of medical device, and consumer good and home appliances. To capitalize on the company’s growth, they are looking to expand their legal team in the Tokyo Office.
Your new role
You’ll effectively work hands on with the Head of legal & GA, providing legal support for the company and ensuring products are aligned with global and regional legislation, regulations, guidance. Providing counsel on various contracts management and respond to inquiries related to legal affairs. Additionally, leading the company’s Compliance and Ethics programs, promoting, and sending the strong message across the company in a global and local scale.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a similar role within legal will lead to your success, as well as:
- 3+ years of legal experience
- Strong knowledge in paralegal work and contracts management
- Business Japanese and English
