Leads Japan HR Team including coordinating and coaching, and development; also is a partner in developing and driving (strategic) business management agenda and HR initiatives
Key focus areas include but are not limited to employee engagement and resolution to regional ad-hoc issues, talent acquisition strategy and employee’ s retention, coaching leaders and managers on organizational challenges, identifying and recommending responses to accommodate to organization needs.
Primary relationship with regulators and state authorities
Manage HR risk in country relating to; labor law, legal regulatory requirements including reporting requirement and ensuring risks and controls for key country processes are managed effectively.
Regularly interacts with executives and/or key clients on extremely complex matters. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as coordinating cross functional team and influencing senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.
Able to influence cross a matrixed organization. this senior leadership can partner closely with all key stakeholders in the region, act as a bridge between the region, global HRBP’ s and functional leaders (IT, Finance and facility,etc) help to drive collaboration.
Able to navigate efficiently in a corporate driven environment while taking into account local needs. Partner closely with global HR business partners and business leaders to help deliver on the people related aspects of our business priorities.
