To capitalize on the company’s growth to 230 countries, they are looking to hire on their legal team in Tokyo.

Your new role
You’ll effectively work with the team to create an efficient legal system to support the company. Providing daily legal advice, daily contract review/management, and handling legal matters on Japan and overseas business. Identifying risk and proposing solutions to various issues, Supporting on BOD meetings as well. Implementing standard governance and compliance aligning with global and local laws and regulation.

What you'll need to succeed
Previously experience within legal to lead to your success, as well as:
- Law degree graduate
- Minimum 3+ years of legal/compliance experience
- Ideally fluent in Japanese & English
- Retail industry knowledge/ experience is a plus
