To capitalize on the company’s growth, they are looking to hire a Corporate Counsel to take over the legal department in Japan.

Your new role
You’ll effectively work hands on independently as the standalone Corporate Counsel providing support to all the operations in Japan. Providing timely legal support to the business function and stakeholders, negotiation of property management and franchise agreements. Assist with contract and template management and legal compliance matters. Additionally, given the opportunity to work closely with the JAPAC operations as well.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in a similar role within legal will lead to your success, as well as:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Bar qualification is a plus
- 3+ Years’ experience in legal & compliance
- Bilingual Business Japanese & English
- Strong Communication with senior leader and stakeholders
