Major Account Manager
[Responsibility]
- Direct and drive sales growth across the Service Provider vertical in Japan
- Lead key account sales, constantly build a sales pipeline and cultivate new business opportunities
- Develop strategic account plans focused on growth
- Understand customers’ business and organizational landscape and uncover opportunities by identifying unmet needs
- Own forecasts and manage variance, tracking, and sales plans
- Cultivate relationships and collaborate closely with solution architects, Channel, and Engineering teams to identify and address customers’ business needs, challenges, and technical requirements
- Leverage external partners to drive solution development in new areas/prospects
- Coordinate with the Business Development team to strategize leads and sales opportunity qualification
[Requirement]
· 10+ years of proven track record of achievement in enterprise IT/network security and technology sales
· Experience selling to service providers in Japan (as end user) and familiarity with the partner ecosystem
· Strong understanding of complex technical problems in networking and/or security
· Strong business acumen and the ability to build a strong business pipeline and accurately close deals
· Strong relationship-building skills and experience selling at the executive level
· Excellent written, presentation, and interpersonal skills—business-level English is a must
